Cocoa by Belgique

Cocoa by Belgique
Select City Walk Mall, Saket, New Delhi
Cuisine - Italian
Rupaiya - Rs 450/- per person (Includes Alcohol)
Suggestions - Not worth it !

Lazy sunday afternoon, lunch was at the mall and both select city and dlf place has lots and lots of options. Big chill would have been my first choice without a doubt, but i was in a mood to try something new. we chose cocoa by belgique, its right next to Haagen Dazs.

To begin, Cocoa by belgigue has these fixed combo meal offers which sound quite good. They include sandwiches+ a drink, burgers+ a drink, a main course+ a drink and so on. The drink is an option between a Tuborg pint (worth it) or any other mocktail / cold coffee. Good spread on the menu for A la carte too.

The ambiance is good - cosy appeal, good enlarged images adorn the wall, not bad i say. The music however was a bummer, we were there for over an hour, and the playlist kept repeating itself. The service was strictly okay. There was just one person around, and getting in touch with him was always not possible.

My friend ordered a chicken ceaser salad with a cold coffee. The salad was just lettuce, some excuse of chicken pieces, and mayo :( The cold coffee was more like coffee water with just like too much ice in it.

I ordered for the classic veg sandwich - the veggie clubber. The portions were huge (couldnt finish) which is good but the sandwich was a regular one with tomatoes, cucumber and cheese. My drink was a chocolate Monk which was okay, in retrospect should have just ordered the pint !

anyways this was my first and last visit to cocoa by belgique.. next time its back to big chill baby!

About Me

My photo
Some people are born to sing, some to dance, some to play a sport. well I believe that I was born to eat, I am serious. For starters I am always hungry. Well i love food, i just wished it would not add calories. Anyways, if I am at home, id prefer my tais kanda poha and pulao, Moms rasam rice, aloo sabji, dads dal and My fav raita. Outside I have lots of favorites - Big Chill in delhi for Italian, Tomatoes in Ahmedabad for Mexican, Indian could be Vishwa Samrat in Mumbai. Some people eat to live, I think I def live to eat. I might be vegetarian who hates paneer, but i still have a lot of options, cause there are so many eateries in the world and so much to sample! So this blog is an attempt to share my food experiences, my likes, dislikes. I also travel a little bit, so hoping to add listings from different cities. It would be great, if you could drop a line, add your recommendations or comments. Cheers!
