Need a new gifting idea?

especially when

a.       You are last minute, still haven’t figured a decent birthday present and want to do something on a bit of large scale and create an element of surprise

b.      Or if you have ran out of ideas

c.       Or like in my case you are not in the same city to physically gift something nice

Chocolate bouquets - Awesome flower bouquets, the only difference is the flowers are yummy chocolates.
It looks spectacular and is edible, it melts in your mouth and is absolutely delicious.

Its both an Innovative and a fine gifting option. I know of this one place in Bombay - Truffles Chocolate Studio who make Chocolate Bouquets.

First came across Truffles on burrp, when was trying to scout for a very different gifting idea for a friend. So Truffles is based out of bombay and deliver only in bombay. You get in touch with them, they send you an e-brochure of their products. You order, transfer money into the account, and the bouquet gets delivered to the said address. The range for the bouquet is between Rs 700 - 2500, and about 100 bucks more for delivery.

So the best part about the bouquet is the lovely packaging. The bouquets are very well arranged with the chocolates that are made to look like flowers, long lovely stems, a beautiful base, leaves all bundled together with some fine satin ribbons. And besides the bouquet looks exactly like the way it is on the brochure.  The chocolate bouquet can be a little expensive, but it is worth it.

The above are made by Truffles

Besides It is a bigger surprise for the person who receives the bouquet. They are not exactly sure what it is. I had one of the bouquets sent home for a close friend, and she was so intrigued, She even innocently cross checked with me – am I supposed to eat the leaves too :P

The chocolates come in some 4 flavors, and you get to choose your choice of flavor, or have a combination of all 4. The chocolates are just too yummy. You kind of also do not want to destroy the bouquet as its so pretty.

Its different gifting idea on the whole I would quite like it, if someone gave me one of those ;))

About Me

My photo
Some people are born to sing, some to dance, some to play a sport. well I believe that I was born to eat, I am serious. For starters I am always hungry. Well i love food, i just wished it would not add calories. Anyways, if I am at home, id prefer my tais kanda poha and pulao, Moms rasam rice, aloo sabji, dads dal and My fav raita. Outside I have lots of favorites - Big Chill in delhi for Italian, Tomatoes in Ahmedabad for Mexican, Indian could be Vishwa Samrat in Mumbai. Some people eat to live, I think I def live to eat. I might be vegetarian who hates paneer, but i still have a lot of options, cause there are so many eateries in the world and so much to sample! So this blog is an attempt to share my food experiences, my likes, dislikes. I also travel a little bit, so hoping to add listings from different cities. It would be great, if you could drop a line, add your recommendations or comments. Cheers!
