Upper Crust
Vijay Chaar Rasta, Ahmedabad
Multi Cuisine
Ooh La La
Upper Crust was my second love only to Tomatoes in my 2 years at ahmedabad! I believe there are 2 of them in Ahmedabad. One on Vijay Char rasta and the second one at Vastrapur. The Vijay Char rasta has the bakery and limited seating on the ground floor balanced by a typical family restaurant like ambiance with sufficient seating on the first floor. The vastrapur has a more cosy appeal. So Upper crust has always had waiting, especially on weekends. Try getting there a bit early, say by 7.30 if you want a good table.
A few things are a must at Upper Crust - The veg/ Non veg Cheesy Oregano steak - Its simply out of the world. Its a must at our table, everytime I have been to that place! For starters one can try either the mashed potatoes/ of those chilli ovenscapes - born in the USA or something like that.
The menu has a range of options to choose from - meals, sizzlers, steaks, burgers, and if you order right, you wont be disappointed! the portions are very good, so order accordingly.
Average Meal for two should be around Rs 700 - 750, but its yum food, so completely completely worth it!

About Me
- crossroads
- Some people are born to sing, some to dance, some to play a sport. well I believe that I was born to eat, I am serious. For starters I am always hungry. Well i love food, i just wished it would not add calories. Anyways, if I am at home, id prefer my tais kanda poha and pulao, Moms rasam rice, aloo sabji, dads dal and My fav raita. Outside I have lots of favorites - Big Chill in delhi for Italian, Tomatoes in Ahmedabad for Mexican, Indian could be Vishwa Samrat in Mumbai. Some people eat to live, I think I def live to eat. I might be vegetarian who hates paneer, but i still have a lot of options, cause there are so many eateries in the world and so much to sample! So this blog is an attempt to share my food experiences, my likes, dislikes. I also travel a little bit, so hoping to add listings from different cities. It would be great, if you could drop a line, add your recommendations or comments. Cheers!
