Multi Cuisine - Italian, Mexican, drinking place, happy hours
Must Must Go!
The restaurant is lovely, seems like an old independent house which is made into a restaurant. There is both inside and outside seating. The outside seating has about 3 tables; it’s like the balcony of the house which overlooks the road. Bangalore weather is great, but it can get a bit sunny and quite noisy on the outside.

The good part is Woodstock Inn has Happy hours across the week. Think its from 11am to 8pm (Fridays & Saturdays) and 11 to 10pm (rest of the week). Unlike a lot of other pubs and restaurants, they have happy hours on everything which is your regular beer, cocktails and the big one – wine ;) Average cost for a LiiT is around Rs 400/- whereas one glass of wine costs anywhere between Rs 360 – 480 bucks. Thus its quite decent to have a couple of Long island iced teas for 400 bucks and they make it really good.

The food menu has lots of options right from Italian and Mexican starters, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, Mexican, sizzlers. We ordered the nachos for starters and was really good. For the main course I ordered the Cottage cheese and Kabab sizzler which was strictly okay, it was different but bland. Think I went wrong in ordering that, my friends ordered a couple of non veg sizzlers which was apparently just awesome! Desserts – tried the Kahlua Mousse, its huge – comes in a glass which is full of mousse, completely worth the extra calories!

Average meal for two – Rs 1500 (Without Alcohol) for a full 3 course meal. It was completely worth the money, I would definitely recommend this place to just chill, drink and eat!

About Me

My photo
Some people are born to sing, some to dance, some to play a sport. well I believe that I was born to eat, I am serious. For starters I am always hungry. Well i love food, i just wished it would not add calories. Anyways, if I am at home, id prefer my tais kanda poha and pulao, Moms rasam rice, aloo sabji, dads dal and My fav raita. Outside I have lots of favorites - Big Chill in delhi for Italian, Tomatoes in Ahmedabad for Mexican, Indian could be Vishwa Samrat in Mumbai. Some people eat to live, I think I def live to eat. I might be vegetarian who hates paneer, but i still have a lot of options, cause there are so many eateries in the world and so much to sample! So this blog is an attempt to share my food experiences, my likes, dislikes. I also travel a little bit, so hoping to add listings from different cities. It would be great, if you could drop a line, add your recommendations or comments. Cheers!
